Marco Polo
Marco Polo
is a free partnership project aimed at providing teachers with the resources they need to make the Internet as integral to every student's (K-12) education as textbooks and libraries are today. Partner Web sites offer:
- Lesson Plans for all grade levels
- Online activities that engage students in self-directed learning
- A wide assortment of charts, maps, primary source documents and other teaching materials specially designed for printout
This hands-on workshop is can be targeted to district, site or department trainers or to classroom teachers and technology instructors. Attendees will receive the Marco Polo: Internet Content for the Classroom Guide and a poster. This workshop is from two to three hours in length.
