Software Evaluation: How Do You Know What to Buy?
Imagine this: It is the end of the school year and your vice principal has found some money to purchase software and has given you one week to fill out the purchase requisition. How do you know what software to buy? In this session, you will be exposed to existing software evaluation tools and will learn strategies for selecting the best software to meet the need of teachers and students. In small groups, participants will view various software packages and discuss findings.

site and hands-on time to search and experience various software titles
This hands-on workshop is intended for classroom teachers, curriculum and technology coordinators and site administrators. This workshop is three hours in length.
